Through posture and expression, the sculpture reflects different facets of the samurai spirit — from meditative calmness to fierce warrior energy.
This artwork serves as a reminder of the ethical foundations that shaped the samurai way of life. Their code of honor, Bushido (“The Way of the Warrior”), defined seven virtues: honesty, courage, compassion, respect, integrity, honor, and loyalty. These values shaped samurai culture for centuries and still inspire personal growth today.
For the author, Aleksandar Brzaković, the samurai represents timeless inspiration — a symbol of moral strength standing firm in a world where values increasingly fade.
