Son of the Sea
🟥This figure at first glance resembles a man — yet in the next, something ancient, instinctive, ocean-born emerges. The silhouette is human, but textures, patinas and organic forms around the neck and base reveal a presence between the real and the mythical.
The surface resembles the patina water and time leave on stone and metal — as if he surfaced after centuries of silence on the ocean floor. The spine-like shapes around his neck resemble a natural armor — like sea urchins or shell-protectors defending themselves by stillness and patience. The raw coral-red lower forms evoke shells, marine fruit, coral — all that grows in darkness, pressure and silence.
The face is calm — almost meditative. It does not display emotion but presence. This is not a watcher of nature — but a being belonging to it. As if reminding us that before humans built a world of rules and form, we belonged to tides, depths, ancient waters.
"Son of the Sea" is an archetypal message about the strength of inner silence — a reminder that when one returns to oneself, one dives. True identity doesn’t shout — it simply is, like stone beneath waves. A reminder of the deep, instinctive part of us — unbreakable and ocean-rooted.
In a space, the sculpture becomes a powerful symbolic point — radiating ancient calm, primal wisdom and quiet endurance. A guardian presence — carrying stories of origin, depth and all that is hidden yet essential.
